This will prevent adhesion to the tattooed area. Even if there is no scabbing, it is still recommended to apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment before using the 911 Derm bandage.

My tattoo is releasing fluid from under the bandage. What should I do?

The amount of plasma excreted and the level of "weeping" experienced during the healing process of tattoos varies depending on a range of factors. While some level of discharging is a natural part of the healing process, it is possible for excessive weeping to adversely affect the adhesion of the bandage. For optimal 911 derm removal, it is recommended to locate the edge of the bandage and peel it back over itself, following the direction of hair growth. Pulling the 911Derm upwards may cause discomfort, and is therefore not advised. In rare instances, individuals may experience greater adhesive adherence to the 911 derm, resulting in increased difficulty in removal. In such cases, we suggest attempting removal within a warm shower, where the warmth can loosen the adhesive and facilitate easier, more comfortable removal.
